Violence and insecurity

It seems to me that Portugal is no longer the quiet and safe country it used to be. Episodes of extreme violence happen almost everyday, everywhere. A couple of days ago someone I know was working and minding her own business when she got shot during a robbery... and my uncle's house was robbed by two men in broad daylight... and the two situations took place about half a mile away from my home! One thing's for sure, the senses of fear and insecurity are getting hold of many Portuguese citizens and I'm not ashamed to admit that I'm one of them. But most of all I'm very concerned about the kind of society that today's children are going to inherit tomorrow.

We no longer can live safely

We no longer can live safely in Portugal also agree with ever more violence.
Because the company also worries me that children today are going to inherit tomorrow.

I found very interesting, because people have to know that lives are no longer safe anywhere.

"It seems to me that Portugal is no longer the quiet and safe country it used to be"
