Text formatting

Some members are writing their text in Word or other word processors and then pasting it with a lot of formatting. The problem is that because word processor standards and HTML standards are quite different, this breaks page design (meaning the layout of pages gets all messed up :-)).

I'd suggest you use the Rich Text editor available (click "Open rich editor" above the message body) to format your text. You can do most of the formatting you do in Word without breaking our site layout. When you want to embed audio or video - insert the code - just click on the "Fonte" icon on top left: it''ll show you your message in text mode.

If you use Word mainly because you want to check your spelling, you can:

- download and install ieSpell - a free Internet Explorer browser extension that spell checks text input boxes on a web page. You can then click on the "ABC" icon on top of the rich editor window (next to the printer icon) and have your text checked;

- use Firefox browser instead of Internet Explorer - it's more secure and includes a spell checker.
