Stress…

Nowadays we heard a lot of times the word stress. Our routine and modern life make possible the stress. Life became more complicated than it was fifty years ago for example. We daily have more pressure and work and responsibilities are growing up. A large quantity of stressful people is teenagers. We are passing through a phase of our lifes in that we don’t know exactly how our life will be. We’re not certain of almost anything and we are worry about the future. I don’t know if almost teenagers are feeling this or not but I am. It’s really difficult someone ask us what we want to be and we say that we don’t know yet. On the other hand school and responsibilities are increasing and we want to do everything at the same time and because it’s impossible we starting feeling stress.
Many people said to me that stress is not good for school and I should be calm and relax, but it’s so difficult! I’m trying to relax a little bit and as so many people advised me, I want say to you “Don’t worry, be happy”, stress only difficult our life, and if we are calm, our life will be so much better. =)

You're so right :-). Stress
You're so right :-). Stress is your enemy: it doesn't help you in any way; on the contrary, it impairs your performance, blurs your reasoning, makes you sick, and takes fun out of life :-).
I mean, we shouldn't take lightly what is serious and important, although I believe we still should have fun doing it. But letting stress take over will bring nothing good. In this fast and full life of the 21st century, it's very important to learn how to deal with stress.
I think people are more stressed when they feel they're losing (or have lost) control over things and are being dragged in a turmoil in which they can't even think straight. So, the first step to deal with stress is: get a plan of action. Look at your life, define what is really important (get your priorities straight), see what you can do realistically in the amount of time you have, do it the best you can, take pleasure in it and don't complicate things :-). Sometimes we don't get what we want, some things we just can't work out, that's life, and we have to learn to accept a certain amount of failure without going nuts. We should learn from our failures and mistakes, but we shouldn't let them be a burden in our life.
Most things that stress people out seem really silly and unimportant when they look back and think about it. If you know what you really want with your life and you have a plan to walk that way, you control things, not the other way round. That, and experience, will keep stress at a distance most of the time :-)
Stress is a big problem of
Stress is a big problem of many people. Lots of people stay depressed because the accumulation of stress. I think that a great form of fight against stress is have fun, go to nature spaces (only trees, pure air and relax) make some exercise or simply read a book or have a picnic.
Stress is bigger in developed citys, I think. In Lisbon (for example) people are running all the time, following their routine (job, home, children, etc.). In country stress isn't so much intense because people who live there have a more calm and healthy life.
