New Generations
The new generations are very influenced by their idols,... football players, rock bands, musicians, skaters, rappers, surfers, actors, models,... Through their idols of different their styles, either type of clothes, hairdressing, and places that they frequent. The brands of clothes, shoes and accessories, also influence the youngs very much, from that the advertising employs many times famous people to have a lot of exposition, that will increase the sales.
Young people don't think about tomorrow, they live each moment like if it is the last one. They don't think about the future, they don't have expectations about their occupations neither a life plan. They are only interested in spending money and don't worry about the environmental problems.
Most youngs don't like school very much, they like to hang out with friends or spend some money in shops or in amusements. They have a complicated life can andure on different ways like violence or drugs.
The "new" generations have
The "new" generations have always been criticized by the older generations, generally because they have no moral values, they know nothing, and the world is heading chaos and disaster (lol). Since the Greeks (if not before, but there are no records). And yet here we are, space travelers, masters of science, technology, humanities and arts, more and more people living better as centuries go by. If the "new generations" were that bad, our journey since ancient times would have been a long decay. And it hasn't :-).

I agree with professor J. Mota, stop talking, act! forget about "your generation"(?) which is the "new one", I assume, go ahead and be alive, according to your expectations, and remember to be polite.
