Mobile phones...

Did you ever note that almost everyone after a phone call says something?

Four or five months ago I observed that after my friend rig off the phone call she said “Yeah, yeah, it’s right now!”, we laughed and continued lunching. Some days after I observed again other friend of mine ring off the phone call and started scold with the person who rings up her. I saw a lot of these situations and my conclusion was: after we ring off a phone call of a mobile phone we always or frequently comment something about it, with someone or even alone. Maybe this is mobile phone effect, in fact, our mobile phone is very useful but sometimes it could be very annoying. It rings everywhere and everytime, when we are with friends or alone , when we are playing computer games or doing a huge and complicated homework. Nowadays we can’t be alone if we have our mobile phone with us and I think is because that so many people became angry after a phone call.
Obviously my “study” is not scientific and I don’t know if some studies were made of this subject, but I though that this theme could be interesting and that’s why I’m sharing it with you.

What do you think about it? =)

I don't pay much atention to

I don't pay much atention to my mobile phone. It is very usefull to watch what time is it or to send an urgent message. I don't have a very sofisticated mobile phone, maybe if I have one, I will use it for other things (listen music or take photos).

I think your observation is

I think your observation is correct - people often make a comment after hanging up the phone - but I think that happens both with mobile and with normal phones, as long as you are with someone. My theory is that you are in a situation communicating / interacting with someone; than the phone rings and it breaks this interaction, because you start a new one with the person on the phone; when you hang up, you need to resume (restart) the interaction with the person you are with, and making a comment about the conversation you had helps make that transition and reinforce your relationship / communication with that person.

I also think the cell phone is a very valuable and useful gadget, but I agree with you that we should make a reasonable use of it, and not let ourselves be "enslaved" and have it on and be available to take calls all the time. As with any other gadget or technology, we should give it a rest in some situations where other things are more important.
