How do I insert video in a post?

To insert a video in a message, do the following:

- prepare your video for the web (high compression to make it small enough to be delivered through the web). A free and common type is Windows Media Video (wmv), but you can get some more information at http://www.cyberlink.com/english/dv-entertainment/articles/video_format.jsp;

- upload your video to a video hosting service, like Youtube, Vimeo or BlipTV. Just register/create an account (it's simple and fast) and follow the instructions;

- to get the code that you will insert in the body of your message, search for "Share" and/or "Embed". Copy the "Embed" code. If using Youtube, click on the right on the blue icon below "Embed" (Customize) and choose "
Don't include related videos". Do the same for any service that has this feature;

- go to your message, position the cursor where you want the video to appear and paste the code you've copied. Click "submit" and you're done.

Note: Embeded videos showing ads are not allowed, so don't use services that have that feature.
