How do I insert a link to a file in a post?

To insert a link to a file in your post, do the following:

• click "Open rich editor";
• write the text that is going to be your link (e.g. my project, nice ad, etc.) and highlight it (click the left mouse button and drag until the text you want is all blue);
• click the link icon (the tiny earth);
• if you file is hosted somewhere on the Internet, choose "http://" in protocol and put in the URL (example:  www.myhost.com/myfolder/safesurfing.doc); if not
• click the "Browse server" button and select the file, if you have already uploaded it; if not
• browse your computer, select the file you want and click "Upload File";
• click "add" next to the file you want;;
• choose "other/outro" in protocol (otherwise your link won't work) and then click "OK";
• after composing your message, click "OK" to close the rich text editor and click "Submit" to publish your post.

If you need to change the link just click the link icon, click "Browse server" and make your changes. To remove the link, just highlight your linked text and click on the other blue icon (on the right of the first one).
