How do I insert audio in a post?

To insert audio in a post do the following:

- prepare your audio for upload (convert it to mp3);
- go to http://www.evoca.com and create an account (free, easy and fast);
- login to your account and click "Upload a recording" on the right, under "Create";
- fill in the title; add a description and some tags (optional); and upload your mp3 file;
- on the page that confirms a successful upload click on "Go to My Home";
- click on the title of the uploaded file;
- scroll down the page and copy the code in the first text box (under "For your website, MySpace, Friendster, Hi5 and eBay use:: ");
- if you don't see the text boxes, click on the button that says "HTML code" (second row of buttons, last button on the right) below the info about your recording);
- go to your message, position the cursor where you want the player to appear and paste the code you've copied. Click "submit" and you're done.

On future visits to Evoca's site, after logging in you can see your uploaded files by clicking "expand" near "My Recordings".

If you want to record something simple, without effects or transitions, you can do it directly on Evoca's site by clicking on "Your microphone" on the right, under "Create". You only need a microphone :-)
