The dream

meggy's picture

Since the beginning of the time, the man dreams, ambition, and project its objectives. The dream is what it makes us men, where we know us wanting the impossible. Through a dream we can change the world, the people, the society, our proper life. Dreaming is the hope that makes us arrive more beyond, is a trip to an imaginary world. Us dream don’t cost, is a guide for our existence, is what leads us and what makes live plus one day. When dreaming, we establish our objectives and we try reach him them and materialize them. In this way, we can say that it is the dream that commands the life and that it leads us to the progress.

Having dreams is great,

Having dreams is great, making them come true is nice, but sometimes some disappointment is inevitable: things are never as bright and perfect as we dream them :-). That's why we keep on having dreams: to feel alive and have hope in the future.

Mmmm... that sounds a quite narrow perspective of dreams and dreaming in the sense Meggy was talking about. Thinking is not acting either, in your terms; should we also dismiss it? I agree that living in dreamland and never doing anything about what you want/wish/dream of is quite silly, but that doesn't take away the importance of dreams (great, important things you'd like to achieve, not those you have while sleeping) as a driving force for action. Since you're an artistic personality type, you should know this better than anyone else :-).
