Did you ever read a book in a foreign book?

I did! xD
In English I have read "Escape from Planet Zog" by Paul Davies (29 pages), "A Christmas Carol" by Charles Dickens (16 pages) and "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince" by J. K. Rowling (607 pages).
I still own all this books, so if someone want me to loan them to someone, just contact me!

I have read some books in spanish too!

So, tell me what is your experience reading books in foreign books!

I have LOL. It's great that

I have LOL. It's great that you like to read books in English. It's a wonderful way of improving the language and you get to read the "real" words of the author. "Harry Potter" ... uau ... that's a long one :-D
That's a very generous offer. I hope some members appreciate it :-)

I've already read many books

I've already read many books in English! I think it is always better to read the original version of a text than a translation because the tranlator will always have to "adapt" and change... More interesting is the fact that I used to have a student who'd only read books in English, which is quite unusual...

Yes,I did =D

Well the first book that I read in a foreign language was "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince"...I think it's a great book to start reading in english because:
1st- it's the last chapter of Harry Potter adventures that we were expecting so long;
2nd- it's easy to read it (even with 607 pages);
3rd - he help me improve my reading and writing in english.

I hope read more books in english because I really love it...and try to read in other languages just like Rafael!!
