Berardo's Collection
Submitted by rage on Wed, 24/10/2007 - 20:43.The art students of our beloved school went to the Centro Cultural de Belém (CCB) yesterday, October 23rd, to take a look at Joe Berardo's Collection.
Joe Berardo owns about 1500 masterpieces, divided in several movements, and hundreds of artists.
It was very interesting, we had a guide who talked about the context of the rooms, which were like 20 or something, and she was with us for one hour and a half, although we didn't have the chance to visit all the rooms, we have seen like 400 masterpieces.
What I really wanted to highlight is that everyone should visit it, not only the art students but everyone that would appreciate a nice piece of art. There are names like Picasso, Pollock, Helena Almeida, Fernando Calhau, Salvador Dalí and many, many more, it's totally free, you have the opportunity to learn a little more about art, precious stuff and to get a free pin saying Culture for life (yay!).

English classes
Submitted by rage on Wed, 24/10/2007 - 20:04.I'm submitting this in the blog section but i might put it in a forum topic or so.
I just wanted to write something about our classes in the 11st grade, well, it's not actually about the classes but the themes we're going to board.
Basically we're going to be playing around around the world issues, animals issues, etc.
Personally this is not something I will be interested in for a few years, and it turns a bit difficult to, for example, write some kind of text about it. Ok, what I mean is that I guess I'll be having a few problems this year. My teacher might think I'm playing the victim here and if I'm good at something I'll be good at any circumstance, yeah, anyway, I'm having a test tomorrow and that's dreadful (!!).
help.

dream on
Submitted by rage on Wed, 03/10/2007 - 19:31.As you're bony fingers close around me
Long and spindly
Death becomes me
Heaven can you see what I see
Hey you pale and sickly child
You're death and living reconciled
Been walking home a crooked mile
Paying debt to karma
You party for a living
What you take won't kill you
But careful what you're giving
Can you feel a little love
Can you feel a little love
Dream on dream on
There's no time for hesitating
Pain is ready, pain is waiting
Primed to do it's educating
Unwanted, uninvited kin
It creeps beneath your crawling skin
It lives without it lives within you
Feel the fever coming
You're shaking and twitching
You can scratch all over
But that won't stop you itching
Can you feel a little love
Can you feel a little love
Dream on dream on
Blame it on your karmic curse
Oh shame upon the universe
It knows its lines
It's well rehearsed
It sucked you in, it dragged you down
To where there is no hallowed ground

routine
Submitted by rage on Tue, 06/02/2007 - 18:11.We're constantly facing routines even when we try to scape them, isn't that demoraliser?

Submitted by rage on Sun, 03/12/2006 - 12:56.question of the day:

Well remeber to reply and remeber to be nice... aha!!

just a book
Submitted by rage on Wed, 18/10/2006 - 14:00.well, I'm reading the third book of the compilation "The Mists of Avalon - The king Stag" (Brumas de Avalon - O Rei Viado).. it's a romance that discribes an era of religious conflicts, between christianity and magic. by puting things this way it might seem a little uninteresting, or maybe boring, but it isn't.
I like it because when I'm reading I feel involved in the context, it's hard to stop reading it, just to look at the front cover it makes me want to devour it; when I'm not reading it's always in my thoughts, I want to know how it ends, but when I finish I feel unsatisfied. it's a nice feeling, it makes me wanna read untill my eyes get tired... right, its just a book, but I like it, unfortunately ther's only four books in the compilation, well, guess that must be enough

I hate teenagers :x
Submitted by rage on Wed, 11/10/2006 - 22:58.I was watching TV and like always ther's nothing interisting on.
suddenly a teenager with about 14/15, I don't know for real, started talking about being an alcoholic when we're 10, 11, 12 etc.
Everytime I see something like this it makes me think about how idiot people really are.
first: can someone explain to me how a 10 year old kid is allowed to enter a bar or a disco?? and how does he/she get drunk??? and then, what would parents do or say?
it's such a irresponsability from the parents almost unbelieveable... their fault, no doubts. but no one really cares about what makes this kids do this stupid things...

hi
Submitted by rage on Wed, 11/10/2006 - 18:22.hi community, guess I'm goin to say something about me. Obviously I'm an Alenquer student, I like what I'm studing, The art, I don't like the school. But I got to get over it...
well, I like music, I like to draw, I like to experience new and different things, I don't like trendy people, I don't like people who think they're funny, because they're not. I'm 15 and I joined the site because I like english and because it seemed interisting to me.
