Berardo's Collection

The art students of our beloved school went to the Centro Cultural de Belém (CCB) yesterday, October 23rd, to take a look at Joe Berardo's Collection.
Joe Berardo owns about 1500 masterpieces, divided in several movements, and hundreds of artists.
It was very interesting, we had a guide who talked about the context of the rooms, which were like 20 or something, and she was with us for one hour and a half, although we didn't have the chance to visit all the rooms, we have seen like 400 masterpieces.
What I really wanted to highlight is that everyone should visit it, not only the art students but everyone that would appreciate a nice piece of art. There are names like Picasso, Pollock, Helena Almeida, Fernando Calhau, Salvador Dalí and many, many more, it's totally free, you have the opportunity to learn a little more about art, precious stuff and to get a free pin saying Culture for life (yay!).
Your visit makes the difference, here in Portugal we can appreciate art and give importance to culture too! This museum is very interesting as I said, it's a good reason to visit Lisbon and a nice amusement for a day.
It's open EVERY day from 10 AM to 7 PM, execept for Friday, the museum will be open until 10 PM! Totally free entrance!
By the way pals HERE! is a great site, now guess the subject and win a free sewing machine.
